I don’t usually promote the projects I work on here, but want to encourage anyone in Bellevue, WA to check out the Expedia Find Yours Wall in the Expedia building lobby.
The wall is an 11-foot-wide mosaic of Expedia customers’ and employees’ favorite travel photos. You can tweet or message your favorite photo to the wall and see it appear as part of a mosaic that builds into a picture of an iconic travel moment. The mosaic transitions to a new image every few minutes and is constantly displaying new photos, data points about travel and tweets. Over the next few weeks we’ll be adding additional interactive functionality.
