I just realized that if I hold my mobile device wrong, I can’t see or use the screen. When the hand is in a certain position the phone screen becomes obscured and the touch controls inaccessible. For example, if I take my phone in right hand, with screen facing up, thumb clasping left side of phone with palm poised above screen, I lose most of the visual and tactile device features. Surprisingly enough, the audio functionality continues to work in this position.
I’ve reported this bug to LG (the manufacturer), but have yet to see a response. If I don’t hear from them shortly I think I’ll probably contact these guys, who apparently are experts in phone/ hand positioning litigation.
