Media that doesn’t appreciate soccer (ex. most sports radio) will consider a 1-1 draw and a 0-0 draw an example of all that is wrong with soccer. If the same people like baseball, ask them about a pitcher’s duel.
I didn’t see any BP logos anywhere — good job BP marketing. However, the BP PR department isn’t playing from the same game plan according to the NY Daily News. Too bad they can’t use all that money that went to sponsoring the World Cup on clean up and economic relief.
Some of the best TV ads appear this time of year. And for the most part, they are much more global than the ads that run on US television at the Olympics or the Superbowl.
